Hass Entertainment is a cutting-edge music publishing and rights management company that builds bridges between the vast world of music licensing for branded content, videogames, independent films, scripted and unscripted series, and the incredibly talented communities of independent artists, producers, songwriters, and performers throughout the United States.

Founded by entertainment attorney and bassist Max Hass, Hass Entertainment combines strong legal acumen and attention to detail, unique A&R with access to top-quality independent music, creative dealmaking, and a commitment to clean and accurate data to ensure smooth licensing processes for supervisors and agencies — and accurate and comprehensive revenue creation and collection for artists.

We serve as publisher and Licensing agent for your original Music.

Creator Membership: $150 one-time fee (includes first-year membership), $25/year from year 2 onward.

Services included:

  • You keep ownership of all of your copyrights - we only ask for a 10-year exclusive license to represent your material. Cancel anytime.

  • We put together the correct paperwork to make sure all of your song and recording information is legally correct and accurate.

  • We register you and your songs for a PRO of your choice (choose from Alltrack, ASCAP, or BMI. SESAC or GMR are available only if you’re already affiliated with them).

  • We register you and your songs with the Mechanical Licensing Collective.

  • We register you and your recordings with SoundExchange.

  • We claim and collect royalties from your PRO, SoundExchange, and the MLC and work with partners to collect international and hard-to-find royalties.

  • We add your songs and recordings to our catalog, and pitch your music for custom licensing opportunities with film & TV, brands, social media UGC and branded content, sports leagues and teams, videogames, virtual reality, and more.

  • We submit your music to MusicReports and other databases for licensing opportunities.

  • We reach out to radio stations and other outlets to get more visibility for your music.

  • You can upgrade your membership to include registration of copyrights for your music with the U.S. Copyright Office.

*After approval of your audition submission, you must pay the initial set-up fee, complete the intake form, and deliver the full set of audio and lyric files to us within 60 days of receiving your approval notice to secure your spot in our catalog. If you need more time at that point, we’ll pause the intake process and allow you to re-start anytime you’re ready.

Hass Entertainment reserves the right to reject any material that does not conform to the company’s technical and quality-control requirements.
